编者按
如何定义“存在”？18世纪的哲学家乔治·贝克莱曾提出，“存在即是被感知”。往往，离开你的人其实并未走远。他会反复出现在你的记忆当中，不经意地在你身边留下各种蛛丝马迹，不知不觉占据你的生活与思维空间。
逝者已矣，余者戚戚。抢先一步离开的人，让留下的亲友们承载了痛苦与无尽的思念。反之，这确实也是一种永存的方式，至少在精神与意识层面上。
今天，我们要为大家带来的是中国著名诗人李元胜的诗歌《空气》，也借此与大家再次探讨一下哲学中经典话题：存在与思维、物质与意识之关系。本诗英文版由英国著名诗人与文学评论家拉克兰·麦金农（Lachlan Mackinnon）朗诵。

那个死去的人
还占用着一个名字
占用着印刷、纸张
我的书架
占用着墓穴，占用着
春季最重要的一天
那个离开的人
还占用着机场和道路
占用着告别，占用着我的疼痛
所有雨夜
其他的人
只能挤在一起
因为剩下的地方并不宽敞
他们拥挤在一起
几乎失去了形状
每天，每天我眼前拥挤着空白
我穿过他们就像穿过层层空气

still owns a name
owns the prints, paper
and my bookshelves
occupies the grave, occupies

still occupies the airport and the roads
occupies farewell, holds my pain and suffering

The others
can only squeeze together
as the room left is little
They crowd together
Almost losing their shapes
Everyday, everyday, the void huddles before my eyes

李元胜，男，诗人、博物旅行家。重庆文学院专业作家，重庆市作协副主席、中国作协诗歌委员会委员，曾获鲁迅文学奖、诗刊年度诗人奖、人民文学奖、十月文学奖。
朗诵者
拉克兰·麦金农（Lachlan Mackinnon），苏格兰当代诗人、评论家、文学记者。他出生于阿伯丁，曾就读于英国查特豪斯公学（Charterhouse）和牛津大学基督教堂学院（Christ Church, Oxford）。他曾长期任教于英国的著名私立学校温彻斯特公学（Winchester College），近年来与妻子——英国当代最伟大的诗人之一温迪·科普（Wendy Cope）定居在剑桥附近的文艺小镇伊利。
迄今为止，他的作品包括五部诗集，两篇批判性研究和一部传记。另外，他还是《泰晤士报文学增刊》（The Times Literary Supplement.）等杂志的特邀文学评论家，定期撰写诗歌评论。
Lachlan Mackinnon (born 1956) is a contemporary Scottish poet, critic and literary journalist. He was born in Aberdeen and educated at Charterhouse and Christ Church, Oxford. He took early retirement from his job as a teacher of English at Winchester College in 2011 and moved to Ely with his wife, the poet Wendy Cope.
His output to date includes five collections of poetry, two critical studies and a biography. He also reviews regularly for, among others, The Times Literary Supplement.
